How it works

All applications for scholarships should be addressed to our regional committees who are familiar with the economic and educational situation in their area. Please contact us at for your eligibility via the local committee. The applications are screened according to our guidelines which give priority to candidates from poor families or a disadvantaged background who are recommended by their local congregation and achieve good marks in their present schools.

We stipulate that at least half of our scholarships are awarded to girls or young women.

Funds are granted for students at secondary schools, colleges and universities in their home country, for vocational training and also for short courses in informal skills. The scholarships are intended to cover at least the greater part of the tuition fees. Further support for books, uniform or accommodation can only be given at the discretion of the scholarship committee.
